On behalf of our client, a leading Group of Companies operating in the construction and the construction materials industry, we seek to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Payroll Administrator, to be based in Nicosia.


The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Accounting department and will be exposed to all aspects of the accounting department. More specifically key duties of the position include among others to:

  • Complete all HR reporting documents and submit them for senior manager approval
  • Verify all overtime hours with the appropriate management personnel
  • Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences
  • Obtain and verify direct deposit banking information from employees
  • Updates payroll records with any change in local law and legislation
  • Process employee payroll payments, social insurances and tax payments
  • Process internal payroll and accounting records in SAP ERP
  • Maintain general ledger with regard to payroll transactions
  • Prepare and provide reports as requested from Management
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential


  • LCCI Higher (Accounting Third Level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, banking & finance or in business administration or any other related discipline will be considered as advantage
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a relevant position
  • Pleasant personality and positive attitude
  • Organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
