MGR Human Resources Ltd is a leading, licensed private employment agency and a member of MAP S.Platis Group. We are looking to hire Security Assistants for the Asylum Support Office to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.


The successful candidates will work for the awarded contract for the Provision of Interim Services to the European Asylum Support Office (EASO). EASO is an EU Regulatory Agency headquartered in Malta whose mandate is to strengthen EU Member States’ practical cooperation on asylum, to support Member States whose asylum systems are under particular pressure and to enhance the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.


  • Support the project planning, implementation and assessment of tasks in the field of security;
  • Support the day-to-day coordination of security related tasks in the place of responsibility;
  • Correspond on a daily basis with EASO staff and contracted suppliers regarding security service matters under instructions and supervision of relevant EASO staff;
  • Support document management by archiving electronically and manually all security related documents; keep records and manage databases (security related issues);
  • Carry-out logistical arrangements (e.g. liaising with EASO Headquarters for shipping and receiving security equipment and other necessary material to the EASO Asylum Support Teams);
  • Maintain inventory and manage security-related assets in the office;
  • Undertake security assessments of premises operated by EASO under instructions and supervision of relevant EASO staff;
  • Purchase various security items and services for operations under the instructions and supervision of relevant EASO staff;
  • Run errands in and around EASO premises and other sites as necessary in particular related to security issues;
  • Draft reports and process data from the field related to security;
  • Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
  • Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile


  • Post-secondary education attested by a diploma or Secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Availability to work in shifts (e.g. from 07:00 till 14:00 or 14:00 till 21:00)
